Our September zoom meeting (Thurs Sept 14 at 2 pm) will feature a "discussion salon" focusing on the question: Have you ever read a book that changed your life in a major way?
This special monthly zoom group is all about Discovery - of ideas, new books, author's insights, and all things literarily wonderful! Note: only author visit events will be recorded and available to be viewed at your convenience on U-Tube.
- Sometimes we'll discuss a question (salon) and talk with other booklovers ("bring" your own beverage to the zoom
);
- sometimes we'll get to hear about what you have been reading and want to share;
- sometimes we'll have a guest author who can tell us why they wrote their book(s) and answer our questions about the plot, the characters, theme, and about themselves.
I hope you can join us often. Just check here to "discover" what is coming next. Then make sure you're on the list to receive zoom links and "Bob's Your Uncle," you're in!
P.S. In August, we had a lovely time visiting with author Alice Elliott Dark about her novel Fellowship Point. The recording will be uploaded to U-Tube soon, so check back for news!

There’s so much to say about Fellowship Point that I’m going to cut to the chase: This book is brilliant! On multiple levels! Characters shine – the plot is intriguing – the setting(s) are beyond believable - the ending is, well, let’s just say I couldn’t think of a better one! The fact that it comes from the Pacific Northwest (my backyard) just adds to its allure. Oh, it doesn’t? Well it feels like it does! Do yourself a favor and grab a copy as soon as you can. “We” (reviewers) all love it! - Linda Bond
